Former ATF Official Slams USA Today Report on U.S. Guns and Mexican Cartels
Retired ATF Deputy Assistant Director Pete Forcelli says a new report by USA Today on guns recovered in Mexico isn't a "nightmare" for the firearms industry, as the paper alleges. Instead, he says, the report paints gun dealers and makers in a false light while leaving out important information about the lax enforcement of straw buyers from the U.S. Attorney in Phoenix, as well as the corruption and graft south of the border that's fueling cartel violence.
