Kobach takes some credit:

Word is Jeff Sessions wasn’t the only person to help Donald Trump with his illegal immigration plan. Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach now says he, too, added important parts including how to pay for the wall bordering the US and Mexico. The Trump plan involves Mexico paying for the wall or else the US would “cut off the funds sent to Mexico from non-Americans.”   Kobach tell the Topeka capital Journal that matches up with talks he’s had with Trump.

Mr. Trump was receptive to that idea and I think he’s an excellent negotiator and he looks for opportunities to put pressure on opposing parties in negotiations and this fits the bill,” Kobach said.

Cruz Disses Drudge

Politico points out Ted Cruz took a swipe at the website Drudge today.  He was talking to radio host Mike Slater and didn’t mince words:

By all appearances, Roger Stone now decides what’s on Drudge, and most days they have a six-month-old article that is some attack on me, and it’s — whatever the Trump campaign is pushing that day will be the banner headline on Drudge.”

Ouch. But it wasn’t all bad. Cruz said the site use to do “ a good job highlighting the excesses of liberalism.”

Millions leave the GOP?

Donald Trump’s favorite spokesgirl Katrina Pierson is claiming millions of GOP voters are tearing up their voter registration forms. The Hill says Pierson told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer the reason for the shred-fest was due to the way the delegate situation has been handled.

There are millions of Republicans right now who are saying this is not going to work,” Pierson insisted, mentioning voters in states like Louisiana where Trump has missed out on picking up delegates and saying, “many of them are threatening to leave the party.”

So far, I know of one. Not a million. Just the one.

Today’s  Poll

Today isNational Louie Louie Day.  And if you were one of those who thought the song really had no sensible lyrics,  here’s the first part:

Louie Louie, oh no
Me gotta go
Aye-yi-yi-yi, I said
Louie Louie, oh baby
Me gotta go

That’s a quick Water Cooler for today. And by quick I mean fast.  It’s up to you to fill it up down below.  Or you can just let Louie Louie roll around in your head.
