This story truly means that 2020 has jumped the Shark but this time Fonzi did not survive.
Thankfully for him.
The nonsense that this year has given rise to is mindboggling unless you have watched any season of the Jersey Shore to which then you could have predicted this coming years ago. This leads me to the movement knows as “Black Lives Matter” (don’t all, but I digress) which has made a mark for itself this year by protesting here there, and everywhere. No matter where they are, this group reserves upon itself the right to protest and cause disruption for the cause.
Truly is adorable.
The latest story comes from the great cheese producing state of Wisconsin where BLM decided it was time to protest on a street decorated in CHRISTmas lights for kids with cancer called “Candy Cane Lane.” That will gain your ideas a TON Of sympathy I’m sure.
From The Blaze…
A Black Lives Matter group invaded “Candy Cane Lane” on Friday night — a residential neighborhood in West Allis, Wisconsin, decorated with Christmas lights to benefit children with cancer — marching and chanting and shouting through bullhorns at vehicles lined up in the streets to see the displays.
Several videos showed the protesting group — the People’s Revolution — marching through the brightly lit streets chanting “Black lives matter!” “No justice! No peace!” and “Whose lane? Our lane! Whose streets? Our streets!” The People’s Revolution has protested for months in Wauwatosa, as member of the group is accused of firing a gun at former police officer Joseph Mensah, Wisconsin Right Now reported.
The outlet said the Milwaukee County Crime, Fire, and Police News page on Facebook contained comments about the protest. “Yes, they came through. Did not obey any traffic rules,” one woman wrote, Wisconsin Right Now noted.
Smooth move BLM.
According to Candy Cane Lane’s website, this is what the street is all about…
In December, 1984, a wonderful group of neighbors living in West Allis, Wisconsin, joined together to collect donations for the MACC Fund – Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc., in honor of a neighbor’s child diagnosed with cancer. The neighbors worked in concert in decorating their homes and encouraged visitors to make a small donation as they drove through the festively enhanced neighborhood. All of the money raised went to supporting research, treatment, and the eventual discovery of a cure for childhood cancers and related blood diseases.
So these folks with BLM think the way to gain awareness for their cause is to crash a street in Wisconsin dedicated to kids with cancer decorated in CHRISTmas tree lights and make a ton of noise? I have to give their PR firm oodles of credit for that stroke of non-brilliance.
The problem we have here is that we have devolved into this society that we are now openly calling for only some lives to matter, not all. That you have this mindset that is flourishing in this country currently that the way to remedy previous injustices is to inflict more based on the color of one’s skin. This is 180 degrees from where the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was in his speeches and sermons and it is somewhere we need start heading back to ASAP.
If not, then we can all just suck it up and smile for this is the type of world that people who support Joe Biden want and that is not an America that is prosperous or just in any way shape, or form.
Truly that is not a great plan at all.
