Bernie Sanders has had a bit of a bad run since his heart attack in Las Vegas at the end of September last year. He has been getting out on the trail a bit more which is good for him but he has never truly regained all the steam he had last spring. Plus his fellow Democrats may once again be out to get him as I wrote earlier today here at Red State. Opinion: Nancy Pelosi Has Screwed Senate Democrats Running for President In Iowa

While his fundraising numbers have been impressive he also has been working on that for over four years so that should not really be any surprise. However, this latest “incident” that he had last week at the CNN debate and the way the moderators set him up is an indicator he may be in for some more trouble.

Women may no longer be feeling the Beerrrrrrrn and that has to hurt.

According to Politico

After a week-long flare-up with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sanders sought to bolster his support among women on Saturday. But for a number of New Hampshire activists, he only made it worse.

“In the context of the last week’s events, it was especially ironic it was Sen. Sanders speaking,” said former state Sen. Iris Estabrook, who has endorsed Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

She was at the event with a sign reading, “When women vote, women win.”

“That was the spirit of this thing, and it was unfortunate that the senator — and whoever gave him the platform — didn’t respect the original purpose of the gathering,” she said. “I was disturbed enough that when the senator spoke I took a break from the rally and went elsewhere.”

Welcome to the emotional era of #MeToo Bernie. Does not matter if you did or didn’t do it, you are automatically guilty. Please exit the bus and apologize for everything profusely on your way down the stairs.

I have zero idea if Bernie told Liz that she or any other woman could NOT beat Donald Trump this year. Maybe their truths got all mixed up. That these woman all of a sudden are going to go all semi nuke on him though is a bit much. They also probably think the ONLY person who should be running for President is a woman. I can say that and be cheeky about it being I could give you know what about identity politics.

Poor old Bernie has to live this nonsense. Part of the rules of ruling by emotion and not thinking it all through on a daily basis.

Bummer Bern.

While these socialist dinosaurs fight it out, I’m just going to sit back and enjoy two old white curmudgeons fight out who is more #WOKE and chuckle mildly to myself.

I don’t want to get yelled at for having a sense of humor about all this nonsense.
