The British rap/punk duo Bob Vylan was mocked over their statement about "being targeted" after they blew up their U.S. Tour dreams when the group led chants at the Glastonbury Music Festival calling for the death of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers.
In a statement posted on the band's X account, the group reacted to the US revoking their visas, the cancellation of their 26-concert US tour, and being dropped by their talent agency, making it clear they do not understand that what they did was wrong.

The entirety of their ridiculous statement can be read here, but to save you time, I will only rehash a portion of it.
We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs, or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine. A machine whose own soldiers were told to use 'unnecessary lethal force' against innocent civilians waiting for aid. A machine that has destroyed much of Gaza.
The government doesn't want us to ask why they remain silent in the face of this atrocity? To ask why they aren't doing more to stop the killing? To feed the starving?
We are being targeted for speaking up. We are not the first. We will not be the last. And if you care for the sanctity of human life and freedom of speech, we urge you to speak up, too.
Reactions to their statement have been pretty good, with social media users rightly pointing out that they have no one to blame but themselves for what has happened.
One person used that popular meme of a person on a bicycle crashing themselves by inserting a stick into the spokes of the wheel. The post read, "Massive gig at Glastonbury. Chant death to the IDF. US Visa revoked, dropped by talent agent, bad press. They're targeting us."

Another person added, "We are not for the death of Jews" — yes, you are," noting that is literally exactly what they said.
A third person wrote, “Your hate is as famous as you will ever get, all downhill from here, well done, good luck on your US tour, oh wait, they don't want your hate, curious to know how much money you'll miss out on.”
What might be even more poignant than the responses is what our sister site Twitchy.com reported, noting the utter irony of the British duo previously noting the "dumb dumbs in bands that can't help but make terrible business decisions and cry about them later."
Ha.
HAHA.
BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
We almost couldn't believe that karma could be this nice to us, but we checked their X page and, sure enough, it's a real post. And they haven't deleted it yet.
I swear, I’m gonna write a book for all the dumb dumbs in bands that can’t help but make terrible business decisions and cry about them later.

RedState reported on the disgusting comments the British rappers made at the weekend music festival and how, after a backlash ensued against the rappers, the group appeared to double down:
But the musician took to social media early on Sunday morning to address the backlash to his performance. Posing with a tub of pink ice cream, he wrote: 'While zionists are crying on socials, I've just had late night (vegan) ice cream.'
BBC later issued a statement apologizing for the live stream of the rappers leading thousands at the festival in chants calling for "Free, free Palestine" and "Death, death to the IDF," as RedState reported.
And on Monday, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said in a statement on X that their visas had been revoked for the "hateful tirade," basically putting an end to their US tour dreams.
The @StateDept has revoked the US visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants. Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.
