Last week our young heroine appeared on the “Desus & Mero” on Showtime ( I covered this earlier here at Red State Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Explains Why Farting Cows Must Go. and had more to say about her favorite platform. Twitter.

According to Business Insider…

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that abuse she receives on Twitter does not bother her because it’s “validation that you’re doing something real.”

She also took aim at people who use memes to criticize her, saying that their efforts are “so weak.”

Ocasio-Cortez was asked on Showtime’s “Desus & Mero” show whether she ever regretted entering politics because of attacks from “Twitter trolls” and “Russia bots.”

She replied: “No. no. I mean, it’s heavy. But in a weird way that stuff is validation that you’re doing something real.” She was speaking on the show with comedy duo Desus Nice and The Kid Mero, who are also Bronx natives.

So the abuse she receives on twitter does not bother her but people using the same platform she uses to criticize others and ideas when they do it is kinda “heavy” and “so weak.”

I simply love this gal.

She is validated in her use of the forum. Even twitter C.E.O. Jack Dorsey has been quoted as saying she has ‘Mastered” the platform which is high praise from the odd bearded one. However one of the reasons she has the following she does is because of what an easy target she is to hit. She is a meme rich subject right now and it is only going to get heavier from here on out.

Her ideas have been thoroughly disputed for over 100 years and that would normally be enough to sink her but the cartoonish way she goes about talking and expressing those ideas is simply priceless. She is literally one of the best things to happen to politics for a long time and hopefully will serve as a wake-up call for others in her age bracket too…

However, I hope A.O.C. does for the entire time she is in office. She is the gift that keeps on giving and I can’t thank the people of New York enough for electing this youngster to this office.

The best has just begun.
