In what is probably the most embarrassing answer by a woman about the intrusion of mentally unwell men into women's spaces since "not a biologist" Ketanji Brown Jackson couldn't define what a woman is, Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White just told the world she doesn't have the brain capacity to know if big burly men should play in the WNBA.
It's important to note here that White is Sophie Cunningham's coach. Cunningham, of course, is one of the very few professional female athletes who's had the courage to use her platform to speak out in favor of protecting women and girls.
At a post-game press conference Friday, White was asked for her stance on "athletes that test as biological males participating in women's sports."
Her answer was astonishing.
"Yeah, I don't know that I'm educated enough from a scientific standpoint," White responded. "I don't ever believe that exclusion is the answer. I just don't."
When asked if she'd welcome a biological male in the WNBA, she played dumb again, saying, "Again, I don't know ... when were talking about 'biological male' and scientifically where we are."
A very weaselly-worded way of saying she's too cowardly to take a stance against men in women's sports.

She then opens up on "frustration" over the debate being tied to the team lately, as they are playing their second game in a row with a rally celebrating Sophie Cunningham's stance for protecting women's sports.
At one point, she actually had the gall to say, "I know, growing up, I played with boys all the time. There weren't girls sports back then." A girl playing with the boys because there were no other options is far different from a man using his superior strength and genetics to abuse women.
As she's so good at doing, along came Riley Gaines to put White in her place.

Cool. So does she think Olympians shouldn't be excluded from Paralympics? 18 year olds shouldn't be excluded from 12u? Heavyweights shouldn't be excluded from featherweights?

Taking the "I'm too dumb" way out of addressing this issue was certainly a choice, but it is embarrassing and simply not good enough for a woman in White's position – especially when one of her own star players risked it all to take a stance.
It's truly going to take a WNBA player getting injured by a big hulking dude with fake nails and false eyelashes to wake these people up, isn't it?
And, of course, we never see women who delusionally think they're men trying to force their way into men's sports, do we? There's a reason for that, but just don't ask Stephanie White to explain it.
