Stop me if you've heard this one before. An entitled Democrat thinks he's above the law and gets clocked going an ungodly fast speed on the streets of Virginia, recklessly putting everyone around him in danger.

No, it's not Jay Jones this time around, but it is one of Jones' colleagues in the Democrat Party of Virginia

Andrew Jimenez, a Democrat who currently serves on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, was busted by a Virginia State Police trooper after he was clocked going a whopping 104 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. The most shocking part of the entire thing is that the trooper caught it all on his dashboard camera – including footage of Jimenez dangerously zooming past a schoolbus loaded with kids.

Nick Minock, a reporter for the local ABC affiliate had more details of Jimenez's appalling behavior, including his incredibly lame claim to the trooper that he was late for a board meeting. As if that excuses putting those kids in danger, but, hey, being a Democrat means never having to take true accountability for your actions.

Video shows a Virginia State Trooper pulling over Fairfax County Supervisor Andres Jimenez for reckless driving.  The video shows him driving fast next to a school bus.

The officer tells Jimenez he clocked him driving 104 mph in a 70.  Jimenez said he wasn’t paying attention, apologized, said he was on his way to work and that the board meeting started in 20 minutes.

Luckily for Jimenez, he was busted in deep-blue Fairfax County and is likely close buds with the county's incompetent prosecutor, Steve Descano. Descano was recently raked over the coals by Republicans during a congressional hearing that looked at why Fairfax gives preferential treatment to illegal aliens who end up in the county's criminal justice system. The answer was simple: the Soros-funded Descano refused to prosecute them, thus returning violent illegals to local communities – often with deadly consequences.

Virginia Republicans noted that the Jimenez episode was all too similar to one involving the commonwealth's current attorney general, Jay Jones. While he was still serving in the House of Delegates, Jones was clocked going 116 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. He was sentenced to community service, and was found to have spent much of that "service" volunteering at his own political action committee (PAC). You can't make it up.

Nick Minock reported that Fairfax Supervisor Jimenez was stopped for 104/70.

In Virginia there is a new law that requires anyone at that speed to have a speed governor installed on their vehicle.

But he is a Democrat - so he will probably be allowed to do community service for his reelection campaign and be given an apology by the prosecutor.

So, the next time a Democrat claims everything they do is "for the kids," remember that the vast majority of them mean only if the kids aren’t in the path of their speeding Porsche.
