The good people of Virginia already know this, but it bears repeating: buckle up, because these next four years are going to be bumpy. We're just over two months out from Abigail Spanberger occupying the Governor's Mansion and Jay "Two Bullets" Jones from becoming the top law enforcement officer in the commonwealth, and all signs are pointing to Democrats being every bit as a radical and reckless as we feared they would be.

For instance, Jones, who beat incumbent Republican Jason Miyares to become state attorney general, just announced his transition team, and, well, it's not great. Amongst those guiding Jones as he takes over from Miyares is Mr. Blackface himself, former Governor Ralph Northam.
You remember Ralph Northam. He was the Democrat (of course) governor of Virginia from 2017 to 2021, and made headlines not for good governance, but because he liked to engage in a little blackface back in the day and, despite being a pediatric neurosurgeon, was perfectly fine with letting babies born during late-term abortions die.

Here's everything you need to know about Ralph Northam to judge his character: he began his 2017 campaign with a whistle stop tour of Virginia's abortion facilities. Once he won, beating Republican Ed Gillespie, and took office, things got worse. Way worse.
Northam’s term, which preceded outgoing Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s, was enveloped in scandal in 2019 after the right-leaning news site Big League Politics released the governor’s page from the 1984 edition of the Eastern Virginia Medical School yearbook that depicted a person wearing blackface and another in a Ku Klux Klan hood.

Northam refused to say which of the two young men in the picture was him, but neither is a good look. But, being a Democrat means never truly having to face consequences for your actions, and he refused to resign. He and Jay Jones are two peas in a pod like that.

VA Governor Ralph Northam Uses Word Salad To Explain His Defense Of Infanticide
The more disgusting thing about Ralph Northam is his diabolical stance on abortion. The man is a medical doctor, but made waves in 2019 when he gave an unhinged answer in response to a question about a radical abortion bill being debated in the House of Delegates. When asked what would be done for babies born during third-trimester abortions were restrictions to be lifted by the bill, Northam responded, "The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable." The unspoken part? And left to die if that's what the mother and doctor decide.

This cretin is who Jay Jones has handpicked to help with the transfer of power. Not surprising at all, of course, but the left's death culture seems to be alive and well in Virginia.
A statement from Jones’ campaign signaled everyone was hunky dory with Northam's presence on the team, claiming all those chosen are "distinguished and experienced leaders in the Commonwealth." Others appointed to the team include Pamela Northam, former Virginia Deputy Attorney General Cynthia Hudson, and former Obama judicial appointee Timothy Heaphy (who, by the way, was the lead investigator for the House January 6 Committee).
If you judge people by the company they keep, then it's safe to say Jay Jones is a proud bottom dweller in the sewer of life.
