It's Election Day in Virginia, and the stakes couldn't be higher amid an 11th-hour redistricting push by Democrat state lawmakers and the continued gender identity politics games in woke Loudoun County that are putting children's safety at risk.
Among the races being decided today is the race for attorney general, which got wild down the homestretch amid reports of Democrat nominee Jay Jones claiming Democrat privilege over a 2022 speeding ticket, with an investigation now underway about the legitimacy of the community service hours he purportedly completed.
There were also the deeply disturbing texts he sent in 2022 expressing a desire to assassinate a former GOP colleague and to see the man's children die in his wife's arms, news of which caused Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares to surge in the polls amid a broader battle in the state between the GOP gubernatorial nominee, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, and former Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07).

Naturally, on Election Day, the candidates are out and about making that final push with voters whom they hope will help them win their race.
But things got a little weird when Jones appeared at a polling precinct after the polls opened. Watch below as he asks someone who is presumably a campaign volunteer if it was okay if he stood nearby:

“Mind if I hang out here?”
“That’s fine…”

The "dog kicker" reference stems from this video clip of Jones at the same location, appearing to kick out at a dog - though his foot, fortunately, didn't end up touching the small dog:

It didn't take long for the hot takes to commence:
Jay Jones just tried to kick a dog outside a polling place in Virginia.

In fairness, he may have confused it for a small child with Republican parents.pic.twitter.com/k4RMtL5Q9e

Why is Jay Jones kicking at a voter's dog in Virginia?

Jay Jones: *kicks* https://t.co/c0OamrJ95k
Regardless of whether his intent was actually to kick the dog, one thing is undeniable: Jones fantasized about putting two bullets into the head of a former GOP colleague in the Virginia House of Delegates - and Spanberger still stands behind him:
Remember who Jay Jones is when you vote today.

Democrats still support him. pic.twitter.com/V5WG6WGAB9
Holy. Smokes.

Abigail Spanberger was FINALLY confronted about whether or not she continues to endorse Jay Jones.
Her answer was SO bad, even the moderator can tell.
OOF. pic.twitter.com/oexYR4l98f
Polls close in Virginia at 7 pm ET. We'll be sharing results in this race and the other ones in Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, and California as they come in. Stay tuned.
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
