President Trump has made his first public statement on the ouster of White House staff secretary Rob Porter, amid a scathing report of domestic violence against his two former wives.
And yes, while White House Chief of Staff and others are forced to walk back previous statements of support, given the things Porter has been credibly accused of by his former wives, and at least one ex-girlfriend, Trump praised the man.

POOL:" The president was also asked about former staff secretary Rob Porter. Trump said "we wish him well" and that it is a "tough time" for Porter. "As you probably know he says he is innocent," Trump added. The president said Porter did "very well" in the White House."
