Citing the Democrats’ stand on immigration as a reason, President Trump has suggested that a government shutdown could happen.

“It could happen,” Trump said when asked about the chances of a shutdown. “The Democrats are really looking at something that is very dangerous to our country … They want to have illegal immigrants pouring into our country.”
Lawmakers are attempting to pass a funding measure by the December 8 deadline, and as usual, both sides are hoping making loud noises will unsettle their opponents.
Let’s also not forget that it’s our money they’re playing with.
