Things just got more bizarre today, when White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tried to mitigate damages from the hearing by saying Manafort played a “limited” role Trump’s 2016 campaign.

As Jim Jamitis pointed out earlier: HE WAS TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN MANAGER.

There is no way to describe that level of desperation and delusion. It’s just nutty.

A short time ago, Manafort released this statement:

The hearing isn’t over, but today has not been a good day for Team Trump.
