VP Pence Reportedly Putting Together A Task Force To Investigate Voter Fraud

Did Trump lose the popular vote due to 3 to 5 million illegal voters, as he claimed?

Highly unlikely.

Is there voter fraud?

You bet your sweet sassafras there is!

Let’s not forget I’m from North Carolina, and I’m definitely still a little (Ok, a lot) bitter over how complaints of voter fraud were handled here in 2016.

At today’s press conference, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced that Vice President Mike Pence would be putting together a task force, for the sole purpose of rooting out voter fraud and bringing legitimacy to Trump’s claims of fraud.

“He’s announcing that Vice President Mike Pence will lead a task force on this,” Spicer said when asked about Trump’s accusations that 3 million to 5 million people voted illegally in 2016.

“He named the task force, and the vice president is starting to gather names and individuals to be a part of it.”

Spicer did not elaborate about the potential membership of the task force or provide a timeline for its creation.

In late January, President Trump announced that he would be putting out one of his executive orders for the purpose of investigating voter fraud, in order to prove his point.

The executive order never came, but he also said that he would assign VP Pence the job of putting together a task force, and here it is.

So far, there has been no substantial proof to back up Trump’s claims, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t some level of fraud or voter tampering.

If VP Pence is reading this, let me suggest he pulls in former Governor McCrory and then they begin their investigation in North Carolina.
