Among those things that the WikiLeaks dump of John Podesta’s emails has revealed (as if we couldn’t have figured it out, ourselves) is that having Trump as nominee was like waking up on Christmas morning to find that Santa was very pleased with you, through the year.
It also revealed that they really were far more concerned with the notion of a Marco Rubio nomination, and put far more effort into gathering oppo research on the Florida senator.
Democratic operatives collected the most ammunition to use against Rubio. His 431-page research book was far longer than the 201 pages dedicated to Cruz or the 157 pages written about Trump.
Since Clinton’s is the vagina campaign, they put a lot of focus on Rubio’s record on women’s issues, and other social justice warrior spear tips.
For Rubio, that entailed highlighting the areas where Democrats were able to draw the sharpest contrasts, such as climate change and same-sex marriage.
Rubio’s record on key issues and his policy proposals make clear that he is just as out of touch with America as the rest of Republican field. Rubio has adopted the same old GOP platforms on immigration, economic, and foreign policy, denies the science behind climate change, would set women backwards, and has fought against protecting the LGBT community from discrimination.
I never quite get what liberals consider to be women’s issues, but it almost always centers around abortion. They apparently think that women spend all day in bed, waiting to be impregnated, and thinking about how to gain access to an abortion, afterwards.
Sorry. My mind is drifting a bit there, because I’ve never heard Senator Rubio say anything that I would consider a disturbing position on “women’s issues.”
They apparently planned to frame Senator Cruz as an obstructionist a-hole, who couldn’t get along with anybody and had never actually accomplished anything in the Senate.
Cruz is a radical, divisive politician who has thus far done little other than block legislation and recklessly gamble with America’s economy. His sole accomplishment as a Senator is forcing a government shutdown that cost the U.S. economy billions of dollars, and he has spent the rest of his time burning bridges with his colleagues by hijacking the legislative process for his own personal political gain.
Because Democrats would never do that.
*cough*Democrat lawmakers sit-in*cough*Gun control*cough*
But as I said, Trump was Christmas morning, birthday, and winning the lottery, all in one.
One thing is clear about Donald Trump, there is only one person he has ever looked out for and that’s himself. Whether it’s American workers, the Republican Party, or his wives, Trump’s only fidelity has been to himself and with that he has shown that he has no problem lying to the American people. Trump will say anything and do anything to get what he wants without regard for those he harms.
Wow. It’s almost like my emails were leaked.
The facts are, Trump has spent so much time in Democrat circles, as a key donor and friend, they all know him and his proclivities pretty well, by now. He was the easiest target, and he has written their attack ads for them, from the day he announced his candidacy.
In fact, much of the material they use in their ads were from rallies and media appearances that he has had since announcing his candidacy. They already had the script by December 2015.
Voters who promoted Trump during the primaries have proven to be the best friends and allies the Democrat party could ever hope for.
Cheers to you all. Well done.
