Another Trump Kid Bolts When Asked Uncomfortable Question About His Dad's Excesses

I guess when faced with the ludicrous nature of his dad’s excesses, Donald Trump Jr., who has taken to describing his dad as fighting for the common man, just had no defense.

Donald Trump Jr.’s interview with a Pennsylvania TV station ended abruptly after a reporter asked the Republican presidential candidate’s eldest son about Washington Post reports that Trump used foundation funds to pay for a portrait of himself at an auction.

“You’re a director of the Trump Foundation charity. Did you sign off on charity money for a portrait?” WTAE reporter Bob Mayo asked in a segment aired Wednesday evening, with the Trump Organization executive in town to open his father’s western Pennsylvania campaign headquarters.

Trump Jr. responded, “No, I don’t know anything about that.”

At that point, an aide to Trump Jr. was heard to say, “All right. That’s it…” as the interview was abruptly cut short.

The question was in reference to a 6-foot portrait of himself that was bought in 2007 with $20,000 of money from the Donald J. Trump foundation.

This is a foundation that Donald Trump doesn’t pay into.

From the money donated by others, in order to do some good in the world, it went right back into Trump’s pocket, or at least, to feed his ego.

So much for that blue collar hero crap.

It hasn’t been a good day for the Trump children. Both Junior and his sister, Ivanka, have found themselves put in uncomfortable positions, in regards to who their dad really is.

There’s a price to pay when you try to layer a year’s worth of feel-good deception over a lifetime of elitism and indulgence.
