I’ll bet you guys are missing Governor Huggy Bear… aka… John Kasich right about now, aren’t you?

Governor Kasich, who stuck it out to the bitter end, long after there was any mathematical possibility that he would be nominee, dropping only after Senator Ted Cruz did, has remained mostly silent about the current GOP nominee.

It is the current dust-up, regarding Trump’s racist comments towards U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, many who were otherwise silent have been forced to speak up. Kasich is the latest.

From the Washington Examiner:

“’Attacking judges based on their race &/or religion is another tactic that divides our country,’ Kasich tweeted. ‘More importantly, it is flat out wrong.’”

It is wrong, but Trump has never made a point of trying to do the right thing. It would be silly to expect more now.

Trump insists that because of his Mexican heritage (both parents are legal Mexican immigrants and Curiel was born in Indiana), the judge would be biased and unable to fairly hear his Trump University fraud trail.

Meanwhile:

“…Curiel was previously targeted for assassination by Mexican drug cartels because of his work as a prosecutor, according to the New York Times.”

Governor Kasich has so far refused to endorse Trump’s nomination.
