Joe Biden used the occasion of the National Prayer Breakfast at the US Capitol on Wednesday to remind the audience that we are all Americans and we should all just get along. Riffing off of President Abraham Lincoln's 1861 inaugural address, Biden said:
History remembers President Lincoln’s first inaugural address counseling us to heed, quote, “the better angels of our nature.” “The better angels of our nature.”
We do well to remember what he said just a few moments before he concluded the same address. At a moment of deep division in our nation, President Lincoln said, “We are not enemies.” He said, “We are not enemies, but friends.” “We must not be enemies,” he went on to say.
I have long believed we have to look at each other even in our most challenging times not as enemies but as fellow Americans.

The hallmark of Joe Biden's monstrous presidency is his demonization of political opponents and his refusal to work across the aisle in any meaningful way. The beau ideal for Biden's method of governance was revealed to the nation in a prime-time address on September 1, 2022, from Philadelphia, PA. It was titled the "Continued Batte for the Soul of the Nation." Here are some highlights.
- Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.
- But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.
- And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people.
- MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards — backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.
- That's why respected conservatives, like Federal Circuit Court Judge Michael Luttig, has called Trump and the extreme MAGA Republicans, quote, a "clear and present danger" to our democracy.
- MAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow of lies.
Considering that public opinion polls show Trump curb-stomping him, it would be safe to say that a majority of America would fit somewhere on Biden's "MAGA Republlican" spectrum.

How many times has Biden obliquely threatened to use military force against American citizens? I find at least four references.

The way he's weaponized the Department of Justice and federal law enforcement to target political enemies is without parallel in our history. The FBI is still arresting people for literally standing on the grass on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021, over three years after the event. For the first time in the history of the statute, the Orwellian "Free Access to Clinic Entrances Act" is being used on people who were engaged in nonviolent prayer and, in one case, on a dad who was defending his son from abuse by a Moloch-worshipper. At the same time, pro-abortion extremists and the George Floyd Celebratory Riot participants were coddled.
And now you want to be friends? No. F*** you and your sentiments. I'm not interested in being friends. I am interested in beating you at the polls, even if it means voting for a guy I don't like. I'm interested in turning the DOJ loose on you, your family, and every member of your administration and putting you all in prison with the criminals you allowed to cross our border like the Huns came into Rome. I want to drive you and everyone you've spoken to in your entire life into bankruptcy.
Beyond Biden's criminality and stupidity, I really detest his faux piousness. By the rules of the Catholic Church, the man is living in an openly adulterous relationship. Jill Biden has never received an annulment, so she's still married as far as the Church is concerned. His open support of abortion is a clear case of scandal. His Bible-quoting is just sickening. Take this gem.
My prayer for all of you — in my church, we’ve taken the 22nd Psalm and turned it into a — a hymn. And it says, “And he will raise you up on eagle’s wings and bear you on the breath of dawn and make you to shine like the sun. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
The 22nd Psalm is the one Christ recited on the Cross. It starts, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" or "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Biden is reciting Psalm 51. When you think of all the ink spilled of Trump saying "Two Corinthians" rather than "Second Corinthians," the fact that our media let this grotesque blunder go unnoticed says volume. (I always say two rather than second; I learned that in the Army, referring to divisions as 2AD and not Second Armored Division. I don't see why this was controversial, but it was.)
No. We're not friends. We are enemies. Get used to the idea.
