The entire story is sketchy but what we think we know is this:

Earlier today, a man with a knife began attacking pedestrians on London Bridge. Right now there is a report of five persons being injured. The attacker is dead.

Not everyone ran. Two (at least that’s the number being used now) passersby jumped the attacker, wrestled him to the ground, and disarmed him. Armed police hauled them aside and shot the attacker.
