Yesterday, President Trump unleashed a broadside against the Four Harridans of the House, who apparently have styled themselves as “The Squad” for reasons known only to them. This blast came as the Democrats were acting like a coyote trying to get out of a steel trap. There has been comment on what it all means. Here are our offerings:
Point: Bonchie As Democrats Fight a Civil War, Trump Strips Naked and Runs Onto the Battlefield
Counterpoint: Mike Ford President Trump Stirs the Pot in Dems’ Civil War, Forcing Pelosi To Make Nice With Those Who Want to Destroy Her
Pile on, because that’s how we infantry guys roll: Mike Ford Troll Level: EPIC
and there have been posts on the ramifications:
Trump’s Tweet About Congresswomen Is Full of Issues but It Isn’t Racist
For whatever its worth, I’m more inclined to agree with Bonchie than Mike but I’ve been wrong so often about so many things Trump has done that I don’t even have an opinion on how this is going to play out.
This morning, President Trump was back at it
When will the Radical Left Congresswomen apologize to our Country, the people of Israel and even to the Office of the President, for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said. So many people are angry at them & their horrible & disgusting actions!

While none of us knows how this plays out, there is no doubt that Trump’s tweets and his demand for an apology did give Nancy Pelosi the chance to try to make common cause with The Squad.
House Democrats are drafting a resolution to condemn President Donald Trump’s racist tweets against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other high-profile freshman congresswomen.
“This weekend, the President went beyond his own low standards using disgraceful language about Members of Congress,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrote in a letter to House Democrats announcing the party’s plans.
“This morning, the President doubled down on his attacks on our four colleagues suggesting they apologize to him,” she added. “Let me be clear, our Caucus will continue to forcefully respond to these disgusting attacks.”
This is a joke. Actually it is less than a joke. The joke was when Pelosi couldn’t get the House to pass a resolution condemning the blatant anti-semitism of Ilhan Omar. This resolution is not going to make The Squad and their fanbois happy. They will accuse Pelosi of not defending these disgusting little commies. It isn’t going to hurt Trump because no one really cares what kind of resolutions a virulently anti-Trump House passes. If anything, this may very well have the effect of a New York Times editorial excoriating Trump.
