Two GOP Candidates are Assaulted But the Democrat Base Totally Isn't a Mob

Over the last week, two GOP candidates for state level office in Minnesota, of all places, were physically attacked.

State representative Sarah Anderson saw a man destroying a Republican yard sign, confronted him and got punched for her trouble. According to an interview she gave the Washington Free Beacon, “It was just insane. He was charging at me, saying, ‘Why don’t you go kill yourself?’ To have someone physically coming after you and attacking you is just disheartening.” Luckily Anderson didn’t leave her car and was able to get away without more damage.

GOP candidate Shane Mekeland was talking to a crowd in a restaurant and was sucker-punched. Anderson was hospitalized with a possible concussion and has been told he has a four-to-six week recovery facing him.

Ever since the Kavanaugh nomination, the Democrats and their Vichy Republican enablers have been shouting that saying that claims that the Democrats are inciting mob violence to further political ends is a smear. But with every Senator accosted in a Capitol hallway, with every attack by the antifa, with every GOP candidate beaten down it become harder and harder to ignore what is happening. The Democrats are tacitly embracing mob tactics and fear and intimidation as a political strategy.
