Just minutes ago, visual evidence surfaced of Senator Al Franken groping and kissing KABC journalist Leeann Tweeden. Franken says he was just trying to make a joke that needed boob-squeezing as its punchline and he’s very sorry. Her story indicates this is really not the case.
That story had barely reached Twitter half-life and more rumors surfaced of other allegations that may be coming Franken’s way:
I've already heard about a second Al Franken victim.

Al Franken lives at the intersection of politics and entertainment, both industries full of misogynistic, power-mad, unaccountable assholes. High probability the story doesn't end where it currently sits.

Al Franken was elected to the senate by a 312-vote margin about two years after incident. If it was known at the time, would he have ever been Senator?

I’m sure, at this moment, Mitch McConnell and John McCain are demanding that Franken resign from the Senate or be expelled. (That was a joke. And no boobs were touched in the process.)
