Apparent Alt-Right Members Arrested In Vandalization Of Menorah

On December 30, Seth and Naomi Ellis awoke to find the 8-ft tall menorah Seth had made for the the yard of their Chandler, AZ, home had been cleverly converted into a swastika:

An immediate hunt was launched for the usual suspects:

Using a swastika as a symbol of hate and intimidation is, unfortunately, not rare. In November, out gay New York state Sen. Brad Hoylman came home to find a swastika carved into the wall of the apartment building in which he lives with his Jewish husband and their daughter. Holyman said he believed the attack was symptomatic of an increasingly visible white supremacist alt-right movement in the U.S.

“I fear that the alt-right is coming for all of us,” Hoylman said in a phone interview with Mic at the time. “Why this is acceptable is beyond me.”

Arrests have been made:

One of the suspects was identified by Chandler police as 19-year-old Clive Jamar Wilson. The other three suspects are male juveniles, according to Sgt. Daniel Mejia, Chandler police spokesman.

All four were arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass and aggravated criminal damage.

I’m not an authority on the alt-right but I’m pretty sure that if the perpetrator is a member they will revoke his membership card and erase the blood-type tattoo from his left armpit:
