Rumors are rife that the GOP leadership has its panties in a tight, moist, sh**-stained wad and looking for a way out of their self-created Trump-related mess. There are more rumors that Trump’s campaign leadership (I use the term very loosely and abstractly here) are bingeing on cheap bourbon and meth because YOLO and Nothing Matters. And now this looks even more plausible because Reince Priebus is telling people that it is irresponsible to vote for Donald Trump:

Thank Heaven the man finally came around and has seen the problem the same way many of us do. We are a nation at the precipice in a world on the brink of catastrophe. We can’t afford an unprincipled and out-of-touch dilettante in the White House. Someone who is actually wondering about what, if any, downside exists to the use of nuclear weapons. A guy who acts as though he is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vladimir Putin. A man so petty and vindictive that he would berate a man who lost a son wearing the uniform that Trump successfully avoided by contriving draft deferments.

Of course, I don’t know who he wants us to vote for. It isn’t like Hillary Clinton is any better.
