DEVELOPING. Roger-Stone-Inspired Threats Of Violence Against Delegates Under Police Investigation

As you all know, Donald Trump confidant, liar, and thug, Roger Stone has been inciting Donald Trump fans to violence. He has not only called for riots at the Cleveland GOP convention, he has threatened to direct mobs to the hotel rooms of delegates who are underwhelmed by the idea of voting for Donald Trump. This has led to at least one call that his inciting riots and assaults be investigated as a criminal offense.

Over the weekend POLITICO reported on how the craptacular, Trump-esque efforts of Donald Trump’s Indiana organization resulted in Trump not having a single delegate who will vote for Trump on the second ballot. Several delegates made it very clear they were #NeverTrump.

Roger Stone put out the call:

And Donald Trump thugs performed as promised. Now Indiana police are investigated what are believed to be plausible threats against GOP convention delegates.

State police are reviewing alleged threats against Indiana delegates who were critical of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.

“What I can share with you at this time is information has been referred to the Indiana State Police that alleges threatening emails have been sent to some Indiana delegates that will be participating in the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, OH,” said Capt. David Bursten, a state police spokesman. “Presently the Indiana State Police is reviewing the information to determine if it may cross the line of free speech and could be considered criminal in nature.”

I’ve noted several times that Donald Trump has much more in common the South American, Peronist model of a caudillo, or strong man, than he has in common with the American political tradition. This using an common goon like Roger Stone to point out targets for thugs who support Trump to attack is very much in the Third World tradition that Trump wants to bring to the United States.

What Stone is doing is treading perilously close to being a part of a criminal conspiracy. His incessant incitements will eventually be acted upon by the no-forehead crowd that believes what Trump is selling. When they do so, Stone will be seen as having given them their marching orders.
