So this is the last twist in the courtship of Rudy Giuliani.

First, Giuliani denies that he met with Ted Cruz today. Earlier we had posted on that meeting as reported by POLITICO. Via the Trump-fluffing New York Post:

Giuliani shot down rumors that he was scheduled to meet with Cruz. He’s on Cruz’s turf in Austin, Texas, where he planned to have a courtesy meeting with Gov. Gregg Abbott.

What Giuliani is doing is not endorsing Donald Trump per se, and this is something of a win for Team Cruz because it means that Giuliani will not be stumping for Trump, but he did say that he is voting for him.

Rudy Giuliani is voting for Donald Trump.

The former mayor of New York City stopped short of an outright official endorsement, but he told the New York Post on Thursday that the billionaire has his vote.

“I support Trump. I’m gonna vote for Trump,” Giuliani said, according to the report.
