While we are all accustomed to calling elections “foreign policy” or “domestic policy” elections we are entering uncharted territory in 2016. Hillary Clinton is trying to make this election all about having a vagina. In principle, I am rather fond on vaginas. Some of my most enduring memories involve a vagina. I have three kids, so while I don’t have a monomania I do have evidence that I know and understand vagina. However, I don’t think “I have a vagina” is much of an argument, when you are running for president, particularly when you are a desiccated old bag like Hillary Clinton.

Yesterday, for instance, Hillary sent out this tweet.

What a noxious crock of misandry, of anti-male bigotry. Boys are the part of the population that is at risk. It is boys who are underperforming in school. It is young men who are becoming scarce on college campuses. It is boys and young men that are abandoned and punished at every turn by a society that has started looking at manly virtue as a threat. What kind of message is it to society when one of the candidates for president has declared roughly half of the population to be unworthy of the presidency because they don’t have a vagina? (Presumably, the twits at Hillarymen.com could still run for president as they seem to possess vaginas.) What does it say about Hillary’s opinion of women that she expects them to put aside their concerns for their families and for their livelihoods and for their nation and vote for someone who claims to have the same plumbing?

Yet here is Hillary Clinton running for president on the theory that because of her (alleged) genitalia that it is her turn to be president. No mention of competence, or character, or experience. And for damned good reason. She has been monumentally incompetent at every endeavor in life other than being able to stay married to Bill Clinton. She is a notorious liar and unindicted felon. Her experience has been given to her by men, not acquired based on her own merit. Clinton’s life and career and privilege have been so removed from that of the average woman that any man on the street understands more about the challenges facing women than does Hillary Clinton.

Now she’s going after [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] on a subject near and dear to women who were raised before Griswold versus Connecticut made contraception legal. To wit: [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] says no one’s trying to ban contraception. Here are 5 times [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] tried to ban contraception.

This is brought on by [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] saying, accurately, that contraception is not under any restriction or threat in America.

The Hillary website seems to be written by someone who thinks women are incapable of obtaining birth control without federal assistance and is more than a little unclear on how the whole heterosexual sex thing works. I’m assuming one of the vagina-males working on the Hillary campaign was involved. I’ll hit them here briefly before moving on.

1. The time he supported a so-called personhood amendment, which could criminalize abortion and could ban some forms of birth control.
This is completely untrue. It is based on the fiction purveyed by people who are unfamiliar with human biology, and I’m looking at Bill Nye here, that forms of contraception that interfere with egg implantation would be outlawed by a Personhood Amendment. This is simply masturbatory fantasy by the left.

2. The time he was willing to shut down the government to cut funding from Planned Parenthood.
True, but there are zero women who must go to Planned Parenthood for birth control Zero. None. Every woman in America, under ObamaCare, either has insurance that gives her access to a doctor or is on Medicaid or Medicare. Rural women are served by state run clinics. Planned Parenthood is in the business of abortion and operates where there is a population base to support that business.

3. The time he called for the Supreme Court to turn women’s personal health decisions over to their employers by striking down the Obamacare birth control co-pay provision.
As the employer buys the insurance and the woman is merely the beneficiary it is hard to see the problem here. If she doesn’t like that option, can get insurance on her own… or pay for it out of pocket.

4. The time he tried to get rid of a law that made it so women couldn’t be fired for their personal reproductive decisions (including birth control).
Such a law never existed. Period.

5. And the time he used a medically and scientifically incorrect argument to try to ban emergency contraception.
[mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] called Plan B an abortifacient. It is. He wasn’t trying to ban it. Salon’s writer, the source for this story, is simply not sufficiently knowledgeable about biology, even though she appears to want us to think she has a vagina, to make this claim.

This is really a shame. At a critical time in our history one of our major parties is putting up a candidate whose only case for election is “I (trust me on this) have a vagina.”
