One of the questions everyone has been asking since 20111, when Obama started his slow motion, unilateral and ineffectual wars against a lot of stuff in the Arab world, is where the hell is Cindy Sheehan?
Sheehan, you may recall, was the frothing, addled woman who shambled about the political landscape during President Bush’s second term protesting the Iraq War based on the loss of her son in Iraq. According to NYT columnist Maureen Dowd, Sheehan’s loss made her “moral authority absolute” on Iraq. (Presumably, those parents who lost kids in Iraq and supported the effort did not absolute moral authority.)
She has resurfaced. On NewsMax. Naturally.

SHEEHAN: , “I think that there are some people on the so called left, who might say we have to circle our wagons around the first African American president, and to me that is racism in reverse because his policies are actually still the racist policies of empire.”
While I don’t agree that we have an empire (we’re missing an emperor, which sort of contraindicates an empire) or that our policies are racist, it is obvious to even the casual observer that Obama’s policy towards ISIS is being acted upon solely because the Democrats and the peace/surrender-monkey movement are afraid to oppose a black president with a Nobel Peace Prize.
The fact that Sheehan’s absolute moral authority no longer applies under Obama shows the dishonesty and duplicity of the the anti-Iraq War movement and the congressional Demomcrats who sabotaged our efforts.
