- Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs — Hearings to examine the testimony of Anthony Fauci
- Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, Employment and Workplace Safety Subcommittee — Hearings to examine the impact of AI on the workplace.
- Senate Aging (Special) — Hearings to examine the AI deception machine, focusing on deepfakes, chatbots, and the new frontier of senior fraud.
Of course, the big event is Anthony Fauci's testimony (or lack thereof), which kicked off at around 8:30 AM Eastern and will, no doubt, be the subject of much discussion today.

- ❌ In American Federation of Government Employees AFL-CIO v. Noem (rescission of collective bargaining), Judge Jamal Whitehead (Western District of Washington) DENIES admin's motion to dismiss.

Well, the suspense is over as to the Fauci hearing, but what will the fallout be?

The Handsome Beau shared an X post with me yesterday that really struck home. As we wrestle with separation of powers and other constitutional questions — here in Missouri, with some key amendments on the ballot next week, and at a national level — and as we watch the clown shows so frequently on display in congressional hearings these days, this provides a stunning contrast.

I had the pleasure of hearing Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia speak in person once — at a St. Louis Lawyer's Association Bar luncheon — and he was a fantastic speaker. But watch the above as he brilliantly explains the true import of the separation of powers and how our government is structured. How critical it is that we understand and appreciate the uniqueness and ingenuity of it.
They don't make 'em like him anymore. They should.
