On Thursday, President Trump will greet and meet with the President of the Republic of Rwanda and the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and participate in a signing ceremony with them — at the newly renamed Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace. In the evening, he and First Lady Melania will participate in the National Christmas Tree Lighting.

Vice President JD Vance, on Wednesday, echoed HUD Secretary Scott Turner in noting the connection between illegal immigration and housing costs.

Whoops — we do have a late entry on the judicial front: Late Wednesday, a Biden-appointed judge in Pennsylvania granted the administration's motion to dismiss in a case regarding the termination of federal grants.

  • ✅ Shapiro v. USDA (termination of federal grants), Judge Joseph Saporito Jr. (Middle District of Pennsylvania) GRANTS admin's motion to dismiss.

MORNING MUSING

Thursday morning has brought breaking news of an arrest in the almost five-year-old investigation into the pipe bombs placed outside the RNC and DNC on January 5, 2021. That situation has always begged questions — lots of questions. Are we about to get some answers?

God knows answers are long overdue — for that, for many of the circumstances surrounding Jan. 6, for so much that's gone on in and around the Swamp over the past decade. 

I know better than to get my hopes up. But yes, I want answers. Yes, I want the truth. And yes, I can handle the truth.
