Kamala's Interview in Australia Reminds Us How Lucky We Are That She Lost
Hopefully, she stays unemployed, at least in the political arena. I wouldn't want her inflicted on anyone.
David Axelrod's Attack on Trump's West Point Speech Goes Down in Ignominious Defeat
David should just take his tweet down and apologize, but the fact that it's still up tells you all you need to know.
This amazing show of our military’s capabilities reminds us that there are enemies of freedom out there, and if and when the time comes, they must be defeated.

South Dakota Convenience Store Sounds Like What ATF Should Really Be
Attach a liquor store to it--assuming they don't already sell liquor--and Kones Korner is exactly what the ATF should be.
The Astonishing Chutzpah of CNN's Jake Tapper
Bottom line: Your hands are as dirty as anyone in the Biden-is-as-sharp-as-a-tack masquerade. Take responsibility.
When Karma Capsizes a Warship: North Korea’s Grand Launch Ends in Wet Failure

If That's What Dems Are Spending Money on, Donald Trump Has Truly Destroyed Them
The Democratic Party had their spines ripped out in 2024, but they seem to be still wondering why they can’t move their legs.
Democrats LOVE to project what they're doing onto Republicans. Just sayin'.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
It should pretty well be crickets up on the Hill this Monday, with it being a holiday. Then, too, the critters are not in session this week.
White House What's Up
President Donald Trump will head to Arlington National Cemetery mid-morning to deliver remarks and participate in a wreath-laying ceremony. After that, he'll head to Trump National Golf Club (presumably for a round of golf) before heading back to the White House.
Full Court Press...
The courts are closed for the holiday, obviously, though that doesn't rule out the possibility of some industrious judge somewhere making the most of the long weekend to issue a flowery injunction. I took some time to delve into some statistics regarding the federal judiciary and shared that on Sunday. Look for Part 2 of that series later today.

COMING ATTRACTIONS
As noted above, it will be a relatively quiet week on the Congress front, as they're not in session. The courts will be busy, and there will be more Supreme Court opinions this Thursday.
MORNING MUSING
I hope this doesn't come off as irreverent — it's Memorial Day, and we absolutely should pay tribute to those who sacrificed all so that we could enjoy our freedoms.
But I'd also like to take a moment to remember and celebrate those very freedoms by recalling...the infamous People Soup scandal at the Ozarks five years ago.

About That Memorial Day Weekend Pool Party in the Ozarks....
I don't miss COVID days, do you?
I've been to the Ozarks several times since and can vouch for the fact that the folks there are alive and well and celebrating their freedoms. I hope you're able to enjoy and appreciate yours today as well.
