#1 - WATCH: CNN Political Analyst Accidentally Reveals the Real Reason Democrats Don’t Like Mike Johnson — by Sister Toldjah
But though they'll try their best, Democrats are going to have a tough time painting Johnson into the "extremist" corner, a point made by CNN left-wing political analyst Gloria Borger in the lead-up to the vote:
"You know, I think he is a person who’s hard to demonize. You know, it's very easy to demonize somebody like a Jim Jordan, who’s a firebrand. He's out there, he's fighting. And then Donald Trump can demonize an Emmer because he didn't believe the election was rigged.
But you had this kind of, I don’t use the word 'milquetoast,' that's not quite the right word, he's a serious person, who is not prone to getting in big, huge fights with people. He is known as a listener, I was told. He is hugely conservative, but he doesn't wear it on his sleeve all the time. So he can get along with moderates and listen to them. And it will be interesting to see what happens with Ukraine aid, for example. But, you know, he’s not the devil incarnate."
#2 - Israel Levels Secret Hamas Terrorist Cell Hidden in an Unexpected Location — by Jeff Charles
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an airstrike Sunday on a compound beneath the al-Ansar Mosque in the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank after receiving intel that indicated "terrorists...were organizing an imminent terror attack," the military said in a statement. While most of Israel’s offensive against Hamas has been targeted at Gaza, which is fully under Hamas control, this is the second Israeli air strike on a West Bank target in recent days.
Israeli authorities said the facility was being used by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad to plan further attacks against Israel after its initial assault on October 7. This situation further highlights how Hamas is all too willing to place Palestinian civilians in danger as it fights against Israel.
#3 - Biden Lets Loose on Bibi and Jim Jordan as WH Walks Back His Bad Remark About Gaza Invasion — by Nick Arama
What a small, petty man Biden is.
Perhaps Biden's most problematic comment at the fundraiser (at least from what we've heard so far) is that he threw Israel under the bus again. He said "yes," in response to a question from a reporter about whether Israel should delay their invasion until more hostages could be released.
Then the White House had to quickly walk that back, claiming that Biden "misheard" what was asked of him. They claim that he just heard the second part of the question and said he wanted more hostages released.
#4 - IDF Spokesman Runs Circles Around MSNBC Anchor During Illuminating Exchange — by Bonchie
That question is morally bankrupt for several reasons. What happened on October 7th was the indiscriminate, purposeful slaughter of women and children by an invading terrorist force. There is no comparison between that and the IDF sending out evacuation warnings before bombing legitimate military targets. Her repetition of a Hamas-reported death toll, which will become an issue in the next clip, also shows her own biases.
CONRICUS: I don't want to create any parity. You know, any human suffering is suffering, whether it's ours or theirs. The only thing I can say is that we definitely do not target civilians. We try to strike militants, contrary to these sub-human terrorists, these ISIS monsters who came across our borders. They specifically targeted our women and children and elderly and men and soldiers, but specifically the civilians.
You know out of 1,300, more than 1,300 dead Israelis, more than a thousand were civilians, which is, and that is by design. So, we are not targeting the civilians. Unfortunately, the civilians are in the battle space. We are doing our best to get them out of harm's way. We've called on them to evacuate.
#5 - Finally: Rob Gronkowski Says What Needs to Be Said About NFL/Media Obsession With Taylor Swift — by Sister Toldjah
Swift becoming the centerpiece of the NFL's attempt at a "comeback" with fans who have grown weary of the league's hyper-focus on political correctness and wokeness has sparked a debate on whether or not they've gone too far. As far as NFL legend Rob Gronkowski is concerned, they have:
"I would just say ‘Bye, bye, bye.’ It’s just a little bit too much," Gronkowski said, perhaps referencing the 2000 hit by NSYNC.
"Yes, you can show her. Maybe have her perform a song now since they’re hyping her up every single week. But we want more football! Yes, it's fine that you show her, but not every single play."
Gronkowski, a four-time First-Team All-Pro who claimed his fourth championship in 2021 when he reunited with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, suggested the league’s focus during broadcasts should be on the game and the players making it all happen.
"That’s my point – show the players, show the players’ celebrations."
