I’ve been wanting to return to podcasting for a while. (I formerly hosted “Q With a View” on FTRRadio from 2014-2017.) But we’re starting out a new year and it seemed like a good time to try something a little different.
Moore to the Point is a podcast aimed at getting to the heart of the matter. It isn’t just going to be a podcast about politics — though it’s not NOT about politics either — it’s about MORE than politics. We’re going to enter “The DEpoliticized Zone,” and discuss topics that are political or political-adjacent, but do so in a non-conventional way: Without reference to politician, party, or ideology.
Have you ever tried doing that before? I have to tell you, it’s harder than you might expect. Can you imagine having a conversation with someone who has a different view on a given subject without using labels, pigeon holes, or talking points as a crutch? Well, this show is going to do just that.
For the inaugural episode of #MTTP, I was joined by my brother, John, to discuss a hot topic: Election Integrity. There was so much to talk about, I turned it into a two-parter. Were we able to have a conversation about such a hot button issue without referring to politicians, parties, or ideologies? Grab a beer, whiskey, glass of wine, or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice, settle in, and listen to find out!
