(WATCH) Trump: What the Hell Am I Doing Here Tonight?

I’ve never made any bones about it: I was NeverTrump. Since the election, I’ve remained a TrumpSkeptic™.

There are things he does and says that I like and things he does and says (many of them, to be quite honest) that I don’t.

Sometimes, he makes me cringe. Sometimes, he makes me roll my eyes so hard I fear they might pop out of my head.

And sometimes, he cracks me up. Last night, when Trump asked a Florida campaign rally audience, “What the hell am I doing here?” was one of those times.

No, he wasn’t having an Admiral Stockdale moment. He was making a joke — a funny one:

Looks like early voting turnout is high everywhere. Whether that translates into Democrat or Republican gains will, I’m sure, be the topic of significant analysis and debate as we gear up for 2020.

(What? You thought we’d catch a breather after next week?!)
