Francesca Hong Showboats (Again) With Hasan Piker As Democrat Panic in Wisconsin Intensifies

We reported earlier on how longtime Democrat political fixture James Carville was threatening to leave the party if America-hating leftist podcaster Hasan Piker became a "force" within it.

"If he becomes a force within the Democratic Party, I'm out of here! I have no intention of ever being in the same political party with that guy!" Carville, a former strategist for Bill and Hillary Clinton, said during a Fox News interview.

Mr. Carville might want to go ahead and start filling out the party change paperwork, because as recent events indicate, Hasan Piker not only isn't going away anytime soon, he's going to continue to be warmly welcomed in certain party circles, in particular, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) wing.

As further evidence, we turn to the gubernatorial campaign of Wisconsin state Rep. Francesca Hong, a DSA candidate who is sitting firmly in the driver's seat ahead of the August 11 primary in the race to replace retiring Gov. Tony Evers (D).

Establishment Democrats are terrified that a primary win over the candidates they preferred, like Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez (who suspended her campaign) and Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley (who dropped out but returned to the race after Rodriguez's fall from grace), will pave the way for Rep. Tom Tiffany (WI-07), the Trump-backed presumptive Republican nominee, to flip the governor's mansion back to red.

One reason for their concern rests with some of the people Hong has chosen to align herself with, and one of them is Piker, with whom she sat down in late June and had a grand old time:

Despite criticism from some Democrats that Piker would be used against her in the general election if she won the nomination, Hong has simply doubled down, appearing with Piker and fellow DSA member and America hater Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-05) during a Sunday campaign appearance:

Former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) said what needed to be said in response:

One said “America deserved 9/11" while the other said that “some people did something” on 9/11 instead of acknowledging that radical Islamic terrorists killed thousands of innocent civilians. Anyone who associates with these two is too radical to hold office! https://t.co/TIVBaC7xNX
