Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) spent most of the first year of President Trump's second term in office engaging in what he undoubtedly felt was "tough talk" amid speculation that he was considering a 2028 presidential run.
There were the sick comparisons of Trump to Hitler. There were the snide "jokes" about hoping Tesla stock prices would drop further so it could personally hurt Trump ally Elon Musk. There was Walz calling ICE Trump's "modern-day Gestapo." Perhaps most disturbingly, there was Walz seeming to wish the rumors of the president's death to be true, nearly a year after the two assassination attempts against Trump.
And even after DHS increased its presence in Minnesota amid the fraud investigations and the Renee Good incident, Walz continued with the incendiary rhetoric, declaring that his state was "at war with the federal government." He even urged residents to harass and film ICE "occupiers" while at the same time portraying himself as the sacrificial lamb by abandoning his reelection campaign so he could supposedly focus all of his attention on battling Trump.

Strangely, however, though Walz has had a lot to say over the course of the past 12 months, in the aftermath of the disgusting invasion of a Minneapolis church by anti-ICE agitators on Sunday, Tim Walz hasn't had anything to say about it. Nor, for that matter, has the city's Democrat mayor, Jacob Frey:

As you ponder that, also recall Walz's warnings about the ICE possibly disrupting "midnight mass services" over the holidays - something that never happened:

A lot of us have been saying for a while now that the Democrats' true colors have been shining through with their reactions to ICE and CBP taking criminal illegal immigrants off the street. Instead of applauding them for making communities safer, Democrats have instead stood shoulder to shoulder with the illegal immigrant community, prioritizing their "safety and security" (as Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger openly admitted this weekend) over their own citizens.
But this is Tim Walz taking it to another level. A church conducting services over the weekend was taken over by fanatical open-borders leftists, much in the same way we saw pro-aborts invade Catholic churches ahead of the Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade. Children were seen fleeing the Minneapolis church in fear.
Tim Walz has said nothing.
If the players in this had been reversed - ICE storming a church full of Hispanic congregants, Tim Walz would have already run to the cameras and social media to fan the flames - and the media would have stepped up to cheerlead and amplify the outrage. But it wasn't ICE storming that church. It was the anti-American disciples of the Democrat school of political retribution, where "by any means necessary" to advance "the cause" is considered their gospel "truth," all in the name of pandering for votes and power and tearing down this country brick by precious brick.
And Tim Walz's silence, as far as I'm concerned, equates to grotesque complicity. After all, we've been reliably informed that "silence is violence." Anything he says about it at this point (if he even does) will be obligatory in nature, not anything stated out of genuine concern.
Democrats are once again telling us who they really are, folks. And we should believe them.
