The more you watch the video clips and read eyewitness accounts of what happened Thursday at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) press conference in Los Angeles, the more it confirms that Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) was in the wrong with his attempt at storming the event to harass DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
As RedState reported, Noem was there to talk about the Los Angeles riots and to provide updates on the ongoing ICE immigration sweeps being conducted despite the woketivist-driven chaos. Noem reportedly was going to take questions after giving her statement to the media, but apparently Padilla couldn't wait, trying to talk over her not long after she began her remarks.
Padilla's disturbingly aggressive behavior, which was seen in the clips that have since surfaced, spurred the Secret Service and FBI agents who were on hand into action, forcibly escorting him out of the room as he continued trying to push forward towards Noem, and taking him down to the floor before handcuffing him.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon, a North Carolina native, has a little experience in the "crashing press conferences" department, as RedState readers will recall, with McMahon showing up unannounced to a Democrat-organized presser outside of the Education Department in early April.
The difference is that McMahon, who in her former role as CEO of the WWE has extensive knowledge of maneuvers like drop kicks and piledrivers, was respectful upon arrival, waiting patiently for acknowledgement from the House Democrats who were in attendance before she was invited to step up to the podium to share her thoughts:
"I just want to express my gratitude to all of these folks who came today so that we get to have an open discussion about what I believe is one of the most important things that we can have a discussion on - or action on in our country - and that is the education of our young people."
Democrats had a press conference outside the Department of Education — so @EDSecMcMahon came out to join them:

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith's (R-MO) office joined in, sending out a helpful "do's and don'ts" list on how to crash press conferences complete with photos, which McMahon retweeted to her Twitter/X account:

DO: Stand by politely and make sure people are clear who you are.
DON’T: Charge the stage and then push security when they stop you from going any further, then continue pushing.

I'd say that pretty much covers all the bases. ;)
