As expected, fauxfended Democrats are attempting to milk the stunt Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) pulled earlier in the day during a DHS press conference, with the main talking point seeming to be that if they'll drag a United States Senator out of an administration official's presser and put them in handcuffs, what will they do to you.
Padilla, as RedState reported, tried to storm an LA press conference Thursday that featured DHS Secretary Kristi Noem speaking to the media about the Los Angeles riots and the ongoing ICE immigration sweeps being conducted in the city despite the riots. Noem reportedly was going to take questions after giving a statement, but apparently Padilla couldn't wait.
Videos show that Padilla's erratic, aggressive behavior seemed to alarm Secret Service and FBI agents, who forcibly led him out of the room as he resisted and took him down to the floor before handcuffing him
Not surprisingly, the media is dragging in "experts" to give their takes on what happened, with the full intent, undoubtedly, to get viewers to believe that Padilla was horribly wronged.
But things didn't go according to plan over at CNN, where anchor Kasie Hunt interviewed their security correspondent/expert Josh Campbell, who proceeded to give a quick play-by-play of what happened, essentially informing Hunt that the agents who pushed Padilla out of the room were in the right in escorting him away from Noem and out into the hallway:
“First, you have the DHS secretary who is addressing the press. This was not a Q&A period, and she's interrupted. She's interrupted by someone who was speaking very loudly. And so her security detail confronts what we obviously now know to be the senator. And at that point, he is now going to be escorted out. You can’t interrupt something like that that’s already in progress without having those consequences.
But the second incident, in my view, happens the moment, as officers are trying to lead him out - he then turns and walks back towards, kind of into those agents. At that point, from a security detail perspective, we’re taking this person out against their will. We’ve asked the person, and again, this is all happening very quickly, but the moment he then turns into them, they realize this is not someone who is going to comply."
Even CNN's legal expert shames @kasie with the facts about @SenAlexPadilla's unhinged actions during the press conference.

Just to give you an idea of who Campbell is, he was a special assistant to former FBI Director James Comey and, like Comey, he is not a big fan of President Trump at all. So it's interesting to hear him contradict most of the talking points coming from Democrats and the press about the supposed "authoritarian" actions by the Trump administration.
Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
