Though former President Joe Biden's recently announced prostate cancer diagnosis has added new questions to the renewed debate surrounding who knew what and when about his cognitive health being on the decline, there are some in the media and on the left who have called for a temporary "pause" in criticism of Biden and his handlers as a show of respect.
For instance, former Obama senior advisor David Axelrod told CNN Sunday that talk of Biden's decline during his presidency "should be more muted and set aside for now as he’s struggling through this."
Though CNN's Brian Stelter surprisingly questioned the timing of the news, which came on the heels of the release of the Hur report audio, he, too, seemed to suggest a brief halt to the debate over Biden's time in office, saying "So, it seems to me, this debate doesn't end at all, but it is briefly put on pause as a result of today's news."

But even if Biden's concerning diagnosis was and is left off the table, there's still the issue of the cover-up surrounding his cognitive health, which we've learned a lot more about in recent weeks thanks to a new book from Axios reporter Alex Thompson and CNN's Jake Tapper, the latter of who is now profiting off of lies he helped perpetuate.
GOP strategist and CNN political commentator Scott Jennings gave a speech Saturday at the American Experiment think tank's annual dinner in Minnesota the day before the Biden cancer news, where he touched on the Biden-Harris administration scandal and how it was the "real Big Lie" of the last four years:
If I had a nickel for every time I had heard an anchor or a fellow commentator use the phrase "the Big Lie" after the 2020 election, I'd be a rich man.
But I wonder what they have to say for themselves now about the lies that we were told about Joe Biden.
"Oh, behind closed doors, he's fine, he's riding unicycles, and juggling knives, and doing trigonometry blindfolded."
What would they say about the enormous conspiracy that was required to cover up this impairment? What would they say about the coordinated smear campaign against anyone who dared question it? And what would they say about the clear fact that unelected people were making decisions in a Constitutional republic in the name of a president who had no idea what was going on?
Shame. Shame on every one of these people who inflicted the real Big Lie on America, and a Constitutional crisis upon the people of the United States.
Watch:
SHAME on every single Democrat official who perpetrated the real "big lie" on the American people.

The enormity of this scandal cannot be overstated. Every person who is justifiably outraged about it and the fact that we were demonized when we tried to raise the issue early on should not let it go until those in the Biden-Harris administration who participated in the intentional deception, especially those dipping their toes in the water for possible future runs for office, are held to account in the court of public opinion.
