As RedState reported earlier, it was a bad night for Democrats and their media allies during and after President Donald Trump's joint Congressional address, with one House member - Rep. Al Green (D-TX) - being escorted out of the chamber after repeatedly interrupting Trump and CNN's Jake Tapper acting fauxfended that Trump's remarks were at times partisan.
"I've never heard a president attack the opposition in a speech like this in such a pointed way even going after - to use a rather derisive nickname for Senator Elizabeth Warren," Tapper proclaimed, while his colleague and fellow Democrat apologist, Dana Bash, rushed to Warren's rescue.
"Right - who reacted with smiles and clapping. Basically, she wasn't gonna give him that moment," Bash declared.
But there's one reaction in particular that's getting a lot of attention - and not in a good way for the media figure - in the aftermath of Trump's address.
At one point while Trump was speaking, he told the amazing story of young DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old brain cancer survivor who back in 2018 was told he only had a few months to live.
Daniel has always dreamed of being a police officer, and was in attendance at the speech alongside his father, Theodis, who proudly lifted him above his head when his son was introduced and after Trump announced Daniel was being made an honorary member of the Secret Service.

Disgustingly, however, MSDNC's Nicolle Wallace used DJ Daniel's proud moment in the spotlight to politicize his hopes and dreams, turning her commentary into a despicable diatribe about January 6th:
“I think this was a lesson in finding one thing that you let yourself feel. And I let myself feel joy about DJ, and I hope he’s alive for another, you know, 95 years, right? And I hope he lives the life he wants to live. He wants to be a cop. He knows what he wants to do, and maybe when you have childhood cancer, that crystallizes for you. And I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer.
But I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters. And if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide, and I hope he isn’t one who has to testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then lived to see Donald Trump pardon those people."
Watch:
Democrats are legitimately soulless. I have no words for this:

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace uses DJ’s heartwarming moment to complain about January 6, saying she hopes the 13-year-old doesn’t commit su*cide if he has to defend the Capitol.
What is wrong with these people? Seriously. pic.twitter.com/dmteEhmcxY
It was hard to determine what was worse about what she said, the fact that she implied at the beginning that she was begrudgingly "letting" herself "feel joy" for a guest of Donald Trump's or that she used Daniel's touching story as a political weapon in her rant?
Even now, hours later, Wallace is still getting ripped to shreds on social media over what she did:
Still can’t get over Nicolle Wallace saying she hopes the 13-year-old with brain cancer doesn’t kill himself after getting assaulted by Trump supporters. Might be the most odious thing I’ve ever heard on cable news. Totally broken-brained punditry.

I’ve made this point before, but it’s worth reiterating: Fox puts actual news anchors on the air for big events like this to quarterback the coverage.

MSNBC puts the most partisan, hateful, unhinged *opinion people* on its air to serve as its anchors to quarterback the coverage https://t.co/i6qVduzoyA

MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace says she hopes the brave cancer kid, DJ Daniel, who was inducted into the Secret Service doesn't k*ll himself because of something like J6.
How deranged to you have to be to even say that? pic.twitter.com/1Gm0eCfPLj
This is genuinely the most repulsive comment I've heard in a very long time from anyone on television.

Many were calling on MSNBC to fire Wallace for stepping way over the line, while others demanded an apology from Wallace, who they said should direct it to Daniel himself.
Honestly, it takes a special kind of vile to take an uplifting story about a young man who is defying the odds and manipulate it into a twisted political narrative because Orange Man Bad.
I'd say "shame on you, Nicolle" but we all know at this point that she doesn't have any left, bless her heart.
