As we've previously reported, it's not just Hunter Biden who has treated his young daughter, Navy Roberts, so contemptibly over the course of her young life. Grandparents Joe and Jill Biden have as well, with "family man" Joe Biden refusing to acknowledge her existence until it became a political liability and Jill Biden going so far as to keep Navy Roberts' name from being included among the Christmas stockings displayed in the State Dining Room in 2021 and 2022, which included the names of their kids and grandkids.
Here we are a year later, and though the First Couple did finally acknowledge Navy Roberts in July, apparently that again doesn't extend to Christmas stockings on the White House fireplace. Even worse, Joe and Jill Biden apparently made the call to just do away with the Christmas stockings with the names of their children and grandchildren altogether this time around, instead deciding to display them at Camp David:
In a stark departure from the previous two Yuletides, first lady Jill Biden did away with hanging stockings for her grandchildren and pets over the mantle in the State Dining Room.
The change comes months after President Biden and his wife issued a statement publicly acknowledging first son Hunter Biden’s out-of-wedlock daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, as their seventh grandchild.
Navy, now 5, was not included in the stocking displays for 2021 or 2022 — unlike Hunter’s three daughters he shares with ex-wife Kathleen Buhle and his son with current wife Melissa Cohen.
A White House spokesperson explained the change by saying that the Bidens plan to spend the holiday at Camp David and will hang the stockings by the chimney with care there instead.
As you digest the fact that the Bidens apparently think it's better to slight all of their grandkids instead of simply giving Navy Roberts some Christmastime recognition (which might go a long way towards making up for lost time), keep in mind that the theme of this year's Christmas decorations revolves around... child wonderment around the holiday season:
For this year’s holidays at the White House, our theme is inspired by how children experience this festive season: completely present in the beauty and bounty around them, their senses alight, with hearts open to the “Magic, Wonder, and Joy” of the season. pic.twitter.com/EWzSGaR5qA

What about how Navy Roberts experiences this "festive season"? Does anyone at the Biden White House care about that?
As I've said before, for a family that says they pride themselves on inclusiveness and family supportiveness and all that, this is not a very inclusive thing to do, nor is it evidence of a supportive family environment.
For those keeping score at home, Hunter Biden, who has lucrative business interests in other countries including China, once said that he couldn't afford what he was paying for child support. And the First Family, which has touted how Americans should “come together” in the spirit of the holidays For the Children™, still can’t even be bothered to include the name of Hunter Biden's love child in their Christmas display. To make matters worse, they tried to avoid the issue altogether by abandoning the Christmas stocking display outright in hopes that the issue would simply go away.
Something is deeply wrong with this picture – both literally and figuratively speaking.
