Cori Bush Announces She Is Not Done Giving Joe Biden Midterm Election Nightmares

As Joe Biden and House and Senate Democrats gear up for what is likely to be a very brutal midterm election for their party later this year, members of the so-called “Squad” are continuing to make it clear that they are not done giving him nightmares in advance of a possible historic election night drubbing.

When last we left you with Rep. Cori Bush (Mo.), who alongside Reps. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), and Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) form the notoriously “woke” far-left Congressional coalition otherwise known as “The Squad,” the freshman Congresswoman was again floating the idea of abolishing the filibuster but also suggested doing something even more radical – forcing the American people at the state level to fund abortions via action she’s urging Joe Biden to take at the federal level in the event the draft majority SCOTUS opinion leaked earlier this month holds and Roe v. Wade gets overturned.

In addition to those ideas, Bush also told the Huffington Post in an interview Wednesday that President Biden needs to say the word “abortion” more when he’s talking about the issue:

But she’d also like to hear Biden use the word “abortion” more. Last week was the first time in his presidency that Biden publicly said the word “abortion.” Up until then, he had used it only three times ― but all in written remarks.

“I do think that he should say it more,” Bush said.

“People are looking to what the president does. A lot of times that holds more weight than what people are hearing come out of Congress. Because folks may not always know their Congress member’s name.”

Pro-abortion groups and their media allies have been playing dangerous word games on the issue for decades (including very recently), choosing to use phrases like “reproductive rights” or “reproductive justice” or “woman’s right to choose” because they felt they were more sympathetic terms than words like “abortion,” which are direct and to the point and might raise questions abortion fanatics don’t want to answer.

But in recent years there has been a divide on the left regarding the use of the word, with some groups arguing that using it might take the “stigma” away from it, while Democrat politicians in swing districts still like to opt for what they feel are more sanitized versions of the word in an effort to fool voters.

The way the current climate is in this country right now – with vast majorities on the left and right wanting a ban on abortions after 15 weeks, according to a May YouGov poll, if Joe Biden chooses once again to bow to the wokesters in his party and run with saying “abortion” more often, it’s likely to backfire at a time when just about everything that could go wrong for Democrats is.

So, too, will comparisons of abortions to a trip to Burger King, which Bush disgustingly did in the same interview:

All that needs to happen for Democrats to be further humiliated at the ballot box in the fall elections is for Squad members like Bush to keep talking. The GOP in turn will put their faces in ad after ad in competitive districts, and the odds are that it will prove disastrous for Democrats.

So by all means, Rep. Bush. Keep on keepin’ on. Republicans will thank you for it on November 9th.
