You’d think people would understand by now that bringing on Hillary Clinton to warn about alleged attempts to undermine democracy is a rather self-defeating exercise considering her storied four-year history of denying the results of the 2016 presidential election. Yet producers of American and overseas radio and TV talk shows continue to book her under the guise of being an arbiter of sorts on the issue of election integrity and being able to concede gracefully.
It’s a hilarious messaging fail on so many levels, worthy of calling out every single time, which is why we’re reporting on Clinton’s appearance on today’s “View” program, where this very issue was discussed. During the program, the simpering co-hosts purposely goaded Clinton on the topic and nodded their heads obediently as she portrayed herself as a grand steward of what was right and what was wrong when it comes to how to react to election results you don’t like.
Here’s some of what Clinton said:
“I think we’re at a very dangerous, continuing high-level attack on the legitimacy of our government and the election of our President. And obviously, our former president is not only behind it, [but] he incited [the so-called “insurrection”], he encouraged it and he continues to do so.
And you have leaders of the Republican party who have willingly gone along as though they’re members of the cult, not a political party but a cult.
And their continuing attacks on the election, their refusal to say, you know what, we’ve counted these votes, it’s over, we’re going to move on has sown so much doubt. And then you combine it with the disinformation network known as Facebook and you got a volatile mix. So, yes, we’re still in the midst of a concerted, well-funded effort to undermine American democracy.”
Watch:

To repeat for emphasis, Hillary Clinton is the last person who should be conducting such a lecture, and here’s why.
Leading the charge among the Democrats who asserted the 2016 election was stolen was the failed Democratic presidential nominee herself, who proclaimed as loudly and often as possible in interview after interview and speech after speech that she would have won in a landslide had it not been for the (non-existent) Trump/Russia collusion. Mrs. Clinton was never challenged by the left-wing media on these claims.
In reality, as we soon came to learn in great detail after Donald Trump was elected, it was the other way around. Trump won the election in spite of the Clinton presidential campaign’s coordinated attempts with the out-going Obama-Biden administration to undermine not only his campaign but then his presidency once he was in the Oval Office.
After that was four years of incessant blatherings from Clinton and others about a “stolen” election, with Democrats in the House and Senate routinely abusing their power by trying to “legitimately” overturn the 2016 election by trying to impeach and remove President Trump multiple times using trumped-up charges to do so. The media lovingly went along with these campaigns by way of amplifying the charges and trying to add to them with one fake news report after another.
Further, Clinton even said in an interview a few months before the 2020 election that under no circumstances should Joe Biden concede it:

There was also this from “The View” in 2019 (partial transcript):

Simply put, the receipts don’t lie. If Hillary Clinton and her fellow Democrats including “The View” co-hosts and Stacey “I will not concede the 2018 gubernatorial race” Abrams want to warn about the dangers of a political leader “undermining democracy” by questioning election results, they might want to keep some mirrors handy, because the pot is definitely calling the kettle black here, and if they didn’t want election results questioned at such a high level then maybe they shouldn’t have done everything they could to undermine a legitimate one themselves for now-five years straight.
