It seems like every single time I log on to social media or turn on the nightly news, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is yammering on and on about the alleged differences between Republican values and Democrat values. In a nutshell, her message every time is something along the lines of how Democrats care about struggling families while Republicans are only looking out for the corporate fat cat who has money to burn and offshore bank accounts.
Though this has been pretty standard fare for Democrats for the last several decades, the tactic has been used like a battering ram in recent weeks by Pelosi and other Democrats as the stalemate over the latest round of coronavirus relief continues.
Here are some examples:

We are here for America’s working families. Our focus is to help them survive the public health and economic disaster of the #TrumpVirus.

She’s even gone so far as to bring up Biblical references in an effort to shame Republicans into supporting the House plan:
Pelosi paraphrases Gospel of Matthew while discussing GOP not extending COVID protections: "We're talking about, 'When I was hungry, you fed me. When I needed shelter, you sheltered me'…We're talking about fundamental values in our country. They don't want to spend the money" pic.twitter.com/EmXiUpwms5

It’s not exactly surprising that Pelosi leaves out some inconvenient details in her little mini-rants, because such details would effectively nullify her arguments about how Democrats are such champions for average Americans.
One detail that is never mentioned in her press conference meltdowns is the fact that she’s played a starring role in the stalemate over the bill. When even Democrat-friendly journalists dare to point this out to her, however, she erupts into hissy fits.
Another detail that is left out of her lectures on Democratic “values” is in how much they value the big $$ loyalty of pro-abortion groups, so much so that – over Republican objections – Pelosi and other Democratic leaders in the House and Senate have previously sought to include millions in funding for their pet abortion groups, which obviously has nothing to do with helping Americans who are out of work as a result of the pandemic.
In addition to that, Pelosi’s coronavirus relief “values” in the past have included unprecedented union collective bargaining power, higher fuel emissions standards for the airline industry, and expanding wind and solar tax credits.
There are many more Democrat “values” where that came from, including this one proudly displayed and promoted by Pelosi herself:
We all have found our ways to keep our spirits up during these trying times. Mine just happens to fill up my freezer. #LateLateShow pic.twitter.com/dqA32d5lU1

Speaker Pelosi’s “values” include showing off her freezers full of premium ice cream flavors in her posh San Francisco home while stalling bills that would help millions of Americans suffering financial hardships during the pandemic.
No, we don’t need any lectures from her about values. If anything, she should look in a mirror next time she decides she wants to wag her fingers at Republicans on the matter.
