Brett Blomme, Circuit Court Judge at Milwaukee County, currently assigned to the Milwaukee County’s Children’s Court — and the former CEO of the non-profit that promoted and helped fund the “Drag Queen Story Hour” project in Milwaukee — has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.

Blomme was recently elected to the Milwaukee judgeship position, having received a slate of endorsements from numerous Democrat elected officials in Milwaukee County.

Blomme is the first openly gay man to be elected to a Milwaukee County judicial post.

According to the Milwaukee Sentinel:

A Milwaukee County Children’s Court judge was charged Wednesday with seven counts of possessing child pornography that showed the abuse of young boys.

“Blomme, 38, was taken into custody by special agents with the state Division of Criminal Investigation ‘following an investigation into multiple uploads of child pornography through a Kik messaging application account in October and November 2020.”

A 44-page search warrant filed Friday by a DCI special agent said investigators found Blomme, using the name “dommasterbb,” uploaded 27 videos and images containing child pornography. Two of the files were uploaded at a Milwaukee County government building, the search warrant said.

His Kik username was identified in the Criminal Complaint as “DomMasterBB.”

Here is a copy of the Criminal Complaint filed against him — read the horrendous details for yourself.  But I warn you in advance that if you have not previously had the experience of reading a complaint or indictment charging offenses related to possession of child pornography — and the necessary detailed factual descriptions of the content of such videos/photographs in question — you should strongly consider whether you want to do so here for the first time.

Not widely mentioned in the reporting that I have found is that Blomme shared these videos with others through the “Kik” messaging app via direct messages and in group chats. This is NOT a matter of simply having child porn images on a computer.  He actively exchanged videos of young boys being sexually abused in the worst ways imaginable with others who have deviant attractions to such images.

From UrbanMilwaukee.com:

In an affidavit, DCI investigators said Blomme was turned into the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children by the social messaging platform Kik after an account tied back to him was used to upload 27 videos of children being sexually exploited.

The affidavit stated that data from Kik and internet service providers showed the account was used to upload photos from both of Blomme’s houses, a county-owned facility as well as a house in St. Francis.

Blomme owns homes in Cottage Grove and Milwaukee’s Lenox Heights neighborhood. Both of which were searched by law enforcement, along with his judicial chambers and his vehicle.

From Channel3000.com in Madison:

Court documents indicate he used the messaging app Kik to share images and videos 27 separate times in October and November 2020. Authorities said the videos show sexual acts being performed on children, including a toddler.

Now, let’s consider his place in Milwaukee’s — a one-party Democrat town — political establishment:

Blomme was elected to the court in the spring 2020 election, defeating incumbent Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Paul Dedinsky, an appointee of former Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

Before being elected, Blomme was the head of the board of zoning appeals for the City of Milwaukee, appointed to the post by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, and head of the Cream City Foundation, which provides grant money to LGBTQ groups in the Milwaukee area.

A longtime LGBTQ activist, Blomme previously was director of major gifts at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin for 18 months, following a stint at the Madison City Attorney’s Office. From 2011 to 2015, he practiced criminal defense with the State Public Defender’s Office.

During the election, Blomme had to explain why he, his husband and their children live both in Milwaukee and the Madison area.

Blomme said his family lives in a small duplex on the city’s west side that the couple purchased in 2018. But he and his husband also bought a much larger home in the Village of Cottage Grove, a suburb of Madison, in April 2019 for $380,000.

Blomme said his husband held a very specialized position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and couldn’t find a similar job in Milwaukee. “Nothing has panned out,” Blomme said.

He ran as a liberal challenger to a conservative Walker appointee.

“I’m the progressive alternative,” he said during the campaign.

Blomme and his husband have two adopted children. I haven’t found any reference to the gender of the two children or their ages.

I have said in print and in person innumerable times that pedophiles frequent places where they have easy access to children, and they go to great lengths to present themselves as unassuming, non-threatening, and not in any way “out of place” with their presence there.

Not surprisingly the “Drag Queen Story Hour Milwaukee” organization has tried to distance itself from Blomme.  Blomme previously served as CEO of the “Cream City Foundation”, which describes itself on its webpage as:

Cream City Foundation mobilizes philanthropic resources by harnessing the pride, passion, and commitment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies to advance the human rights and respond to the human needs of LGBTQ+ people in Southeastern Wisconsin.

The Executive Director of Drag Queen Story Hour Milwaukee claims the only connection between his organization and Cream City is financial — that Cream City has provided financial support for the Drag Queen Story Hour program.

In response, I will repeat myself — pedophiles place themselves in positions where they have easy access to children and are not viewed with suspicion as a result of their presence.
