After the events at the Capitol, conservatives have spent the better part of the last several weeks condemning violence and those who perpetrated it. Even when he had the ability to do so, President Trump took no action to pay for the bail of, nor pardon, any of the offenders associated with that attack.
Meanwhile, Democrats continue to pal around with terrorist organizations and those people within them that execute violent actions across the Country. The Minnesota Freedom Fund, which was started to help pay for the release of those who were arrested in the violent riots in Minnesota last year, was promoted and supported by now-Vice President Harris. At the time of the establishment of the fund, many conservatives raised the issue with the release of violent criminals, an action that Harris was completely unapologetic for at any time. She even went as far as to suggest that the violence should continue as a means of reaching a favorable outcome to their policy goals.
Today it was revealed that the Harris-supported bail fund paid for the release of Thomas Moseley, a man arrested in August for his actions in a violent riot that resulted in property damage charges and the possession of a handgun.
From Alpha News:
“Moseley was previously arrested on property damage and gun possession charges, but was released after the Minnesota Freedom Fund posted $5,000 for his bail. The gun possession charge was connected to an Oct. 15 protest inside the Hennepin County Government Center, where the officers involved in George Floyd’s death were making a court appearance.
Officers arrested Moseley (on property damage charges stemming from an August protest) and found him in possession of a Glock semi-automatic handgun. They then obtained a warrant to search Moseley’s vehicle and discovered a massive cache of firearms and tactical gear, including three handguns, a shotgun, a semi-automatic rifle, a gas mask and about 50 rounds of ammunition — plus a stash of cocaine, mushrooms, and marijuana.”
Moseley was later arrested and charged for his role in another violent riot on New Year’s Eve, and again The Minnesota Freedom Fund foot the bill for his release, this time 60k.
Again, from Alpha News:
“Rioters involved in the New Year’s Eve incident allegedly vandalized buildings in the downtown area with messages such as “down with America,” “kill all cops,” “crimewave 2021,” “America’s last year,” and “death to America.” Moseley and four others were detained.”
“During the course of these detentions and investigation, officers recovered a handgun, knives, three cans containing a suspected wax and fuel substance, a green laser, mace, improvised spike balls, a taser, fireworks, gas masks, body armor, helmets, and 2-way radios. Additionally, it was learned that the group had a designated ‘emergency medical technician,’” the charges state.”
This was not a good dude, in fact, he was more armed and organized than anyone detained during the Capitol riots. It also should be noted that Moseley carried a loaded firearm into a government building, something that seemed to really enrage liberals, just a few weeks ago.
Daily Wire reporter, Ashe Schow, referred to reporting done several months ago where it was found that the majority of the funds raised by the Minnesota Freedom Fund was spent on things other than bail, however, the money that was spent on bail freed some rather unsavory people.
From The Daily Wire:
The Minnesota Freedom Fund was established last summer to bail out rioters, though it came under fire after raising $30 million in donations, much of that from Hollywood celebrities, and spending less than 1% of those funds on bailing out rioters, The Daily Wire reported. Some of those who were bailed out, however, were dangerous criminals.
“Among those bailed out by the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) is a suspect who shot at police, a woman accused of killing a friend, and a twice-convicted sex offender, according to court records,” Fox 9 Minneapolis reported at the time. “According to attempted murder charges, Jaleel Stallings shot at members of a SWAT Team during the riots in May. Police recovered a modified pistol that looks like an AK-47. MFF paid $75,000 in cash to get Stallings out of jail.”
To date, there appear to be zero questions posed by the media regarding Harris’ support of the Fund, nor the fact that her support of the fund may have led to violent riots and looting. The hypocrisy from the left continues to shine, as they celebrate the first few weeks of dictator President Biden’s executive order blitz. Are we really surprised though?
