President Trump’s former doctor, Ronnie Jackson, has stated that as a “concern citizen” he thinks that Biden should undergo tests to determine his mental fitness to be President.  Jackson, who served as the Physician to the President from 2013 to 2018, is now running for Congress in Texas in the 13th District and is the likely winner in November.  Jackson also was nominated to be the Secretary of Veterans Affairs but withdrew his nomination after attacks leveled against his experience.  Jackson retired from the Navy in 2019 to run for Congress.

From The Hill:

“The remarks from Jackson, who has not evaluated Biden, came during a phone call organized by President Trump’s campaign and are part of a sustained effort by Trump’s allies to highlight Biden’s gaffes on the campaign trail, arguing they make him mentally incapable of serving as commander in chief.

Jackson said Tuesday that he was speaking as a “concerned citizen” and not as a Republican congressional candidate.

“I really think that he needs some type of cognitive testing before he takes over the reigns as our commander in chief, if that is in the cards,” Jackson added.”

Jackson makes a very valid point in this regard, as we know that if Trump was suffering from the same missteps and screw-ups we have heard from Biden, it would be running in the media 24/7.  There were numerous calls from the left to release the President’s medical records after his COVID-19 diagnosis, but virtually no calls for Biden to be seen by a doctor or release his medical records concerning his mental acuity.
