Vice President JD Vance sharply condemned mainstream media coverage of the fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis as a prime example of misleading propaganda, after reposting dramatic new cellphone footage purportedly from the officer's perspective that he believes proves the agent acted in self-defense.
The bombshell footage, as reported by RedState's Bonchie, puts a significant dent in the media and Democrat narrative that the woman was without fault while the ICE agent was a cold-blooded murderer.
And by dent, I mean it totally demolishes everything you've heard over the past couple of days. The woman, 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, accelerated into and struck the agent. She was not fearing for her life at any point.
Vance begins by noting what we all believe: despite everything that led up to the incident, we all wish this young woman hadn't lost her life. Just as we all wish the agent involved didn't have to get hit by a vehicle, so traumatized by the threat that he felt the need to discharge his weapon.
Rewinding even further, we wish the woman and her wife hadn't intentionally baited officers, ignoring orders for three minutes. All before making the fateful decision to listen to her wife, who shouted, "Drive, baby, drive! Drive!"

The totality of the incident was tragic, as noted by the Vice President. But the legacy media coverage of it was an absolute abortion.
"If you want to say this woman's death is a tragedy, that we should pray for her soul as Christians and Americans, then I agree with you," he said. "But the media dishonesty about this officer is an all-time moment in shameless press propaganda."
Vance went on to cite nuanced points that the press had no interest in addressing when it came to their coverage of the shooting.
"Does this law enforcement officer have a family? Yes. Did he get seriously injured by a vehicle just six months ago? Yes. Did he have reason to fear for his life? Yes. Does he have every right to safety while he's doing his job? Yes," he observed.
But you wouldn't know any of that if you consumed news exclusively from leftist media. Outlets that consistently blur the lines between journalism and being puppets for the Democratic Party.
"I want our law enforcement officers to do their jobs and come home safely to their family. If you don't like the immigration policy of the Trump administration, attack me. Leave our law enforcement alone," Vance concluded. "And it's time for the press to finally tell the truth about this story."

They manufacture lie after lie, their colleagues repeat those lies verbatim, and when the truth comes out (this time in the form of the new cellphone footage), they just pivot to the next false narrative and hope their previous body of work slowly disappears from the public consciousness, forgotten by their low-IQ viewers and readers.
