Another Dem Epstein Stunt, Another Complete Backfire: Model Lauds Trump As ‘Very Gentlemanly’

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate, including a redacted image of President Trump posing with women whose faces were blacked out.

The committee reportedly has 95,000 images from the estate, but only initially released 19 of them on Friday. Three of them involve harmless images of the President, only made nefarious by the redactions and the black boxes covering the faces of certain women.

That, and the helpful narrative they put out. Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia (CA-42) declared that the release involved “disturbing photos" that "raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.”

That was followed up by an X post by his colleague, Democrat Rep. Yassamin Ansari (AZ-3), which claimed one image in particular was "vile, disturbing" and raised questions about the President's "knowledge of abuses at Epstein's estate."

While the legal team for Epstein's estate told the New York Post that the redactions were made at the request of those involved, it was clear that Democrats were pushing images of women with black boxes on their faces for a reason. The photo in question was one of 95,000 or so, and it somehow went viral on social media yesterday. They wanted low-information voters to conclude that Trump was standing beside some of Epstein's victims.

Politibunny, at our sister site Twitchy, explained the intent.

"Now, we admit, the big black scary boxes on the women's faces make it seem like they're protecting them because they're children or minors," she writes. "Democrats are such a-holes."

Indeed, it's difficult to argue that contention. But they are consistent as well. And slowly allowing the drip, drip, drip of photos they believe will paint the President in a negative light is their shtick. The Post, however, has blown up the narrative a bit.

That "vile, disturbing" image they released? In its unredacted form, the outlet reports, the photo shows Trump standing at Mar-a-Lago with “adult women models." Five Hawaiian Tropic models to be exact. The suntan lotion brand.

Making it even more thoroughly inconsequential, the Telegraph managed to get in touch with one of the models and discovered she had nothing but nice things to say about the President, who she described as a complete "gentleman" who went out of his way to make sure everyone in attendance had a good time.

“I was 22 years old and remember him being very nice. He was very gentlemanly, that’s the word to describe him,” she told the publication.

The Telegraph reports that the image appears to be from 1998. And wouldn't you know it, Trump had participated as a VIP guest at the 1998 Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant. Democrats may recall a time when beauty pageants were a big thing in Trump's circle. Back when they still knew what a woman was.

One of the reporters on that story further pointed out on X that the model "could not recall neither Ghislaine Maxwell or Epstein (being) at the event."

Double negatives aside, the Democrats' narrative once again backfired worse than Uncle Buck's beat-up, smoke-spewing 1977 Mercury Marquis Brougham. (Hopefully, some of you will get that reference.) The backfiring seems to be a trend.

Earlier this month, they began their slow release of Epstein information by releasing "never-before-seen" photos and videos of the sex predator's private island. Photos that were peppered with more redactions. One problem, they had definitely been seen before, and unredacted at that.

Prior to that, the hits had kept coming:

  • Democrats tried hiding the name of the victim in their redacted email dumps because that victim was actually someone who had stated under oath that the President never acted inappropriately with her and that she never saw him with Epstein.
  • They attempted to claim that Trump spent Thanksgiving with Epstein, only to have to delete their post when it was easily disproved.
  • One of their own, Democrat Del. Stacey Plaskett (VI-At Large), was exposed for texting the sex predator in real time during a congressional hearing, then having him steer her questioning of an anti-Trump witness like a puppet.
  • Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) committed an all-time blunder by trying to link Republicans to "a Jeffrey Epstein," only to find out later it wasn't that Jeffrey Epstein.

And now, a redacted image of a beauty pageant hosted in Trump's own home in which one of the models said he was nothing but a "gentleman."

The resistance party, once again, looks like that old fisherman from the Geico commercial. Once again, you almost had him, Dems. Don't ever stop trying.

A spokesperson for House Oversight Republicans ripped the Democrats for another stunt gone wrong on the Epstein front, accusing Democrats of “cherry-picking” the images and making “targeted redactions” to create a “false narrative."

All of which are true. That's exactly what they are doing.

“We received over 95,000 photos and Democrats released just a handful,” the statement via the spokesperson reads. “Democrats’ hoax against President Trump has been completely debunked. Nothing in the documents we’ve received shows any wrongdoing. It is shameful Rep. Garcia and Democrats continue to put politics above justice for the survivors.”

Shameful, but completely expected. They'll do it again with the next release. And the next one.
