Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem publicly shredded Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) for what she claims is significant fraud in the state's visa programs.
Noem reported to President Trump that, at his direction, she had looked into visa fraud in the North Star State, and the numbers were grim. She claimed a staggering 50 percent of cases reviewed had yielded some form of fraud, adding that the only way Walz could have been ignorant of it is for two reasons, neither of which is flattering.
"You told me to look into Minnesota and their fraud on visas and their programs, 50% of them are fraudulent," Noem stated. "Which means that that wacko Governor Walz either is an idiot or he did it on purpose, and I think he's both, sir."
"He brought people in there illegally that never should have been in this country, said they were somebody that they're not. They said they were married to somebody who was their brother or somebody else," Noem continued, a clear shot at Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-5).
"Fraudulent visa applications, signed up for government programs, took hundreds of billions of dollars from the taxpayers, and we're going to remove them, and we're going to get our money back."

Noem's comments come after the President laid into Walz for allowing "hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia" to take over Minnesota as they "prey" on his citizens.
It also comes in the aftermath of reports claiming that Minnesota has suffered billions in taxpayer-funded fraud under Walz, much of it allegedly perpetrated by members of the state’s large Somali community.
A story last month by City Journal alleged that Somalis, to a large degree, had taken advantage of one of the nation’s most generous welfare systems—Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program—and funneled millions of those fraudulently obtained funds to the terror group Al-Shabaab.

RedState reporter Nick Arama unveiled that the fraud scandal was now being investigated and that Walz himself was being looked into. His role was amplified by a whistleblower account that claimed to represent hundreds of Minnesota Department of Human Services employees, alleging Walz was "100% responsible."
"Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on, hoping for a partnership in stopping fraud, but no, we got the opposite response," the whistleblower account wrote on X, later alleging the fraud represented "a cascade of systemic failures leading up to Tim Walz."
Again, as Noem said, either he's an idiot or he allowed it to happen under his tenure.
The DHS Secretary also reported that her department intends to focus its immigration crackdown operations on Minnesota. The New York Times notes that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Minneapolis and St. Paul are already underway this week.
"The plan calls for the deployment of so-called strike teams, which are made up of ICE officers, agents, and other federal officials. Roughly 100 officers and agents from around the country have been brought in for the operation," an official told the outlet.
The fraud has reportedly been ongoing for years under the Walz administration. He has allowed Minnesota to be invaded by Somali criminals. And he was once chosen to be a heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world.
America dodged a bullet, but the people of Minnesota are suffering. The legal, non-criminal ones, anyway.
